For quite a while I`ve been getting several notes / comments from people who asked when I was finally going to draw a proposal-picture with Jim and me, and I thought it`s high time to actually make one. ^^

Result of star-gazing and listening to "The Little Mermaid"-soundtrack.

There`s a party in the Benbow Inn at Christmas Eve. Jim persuaded Dolphy to go outside to get some fresh air. The music played inside the building can still faintly be heard as he "coincidentally" stands under a mistletoe. ;)

Jim will get many caressings tonight. ;)
Putting candles there might be a little dangerous, but it creates a romantic atmosphere, doesn`t it?

I dreamed of that picture some nights ago and when I woke up the next day I just had to draw it. ^^

NEVER trust a woman with a snowball in her hand. *is evil* ...Well, more like "stupid", because Jim can run faster and has more stamina than me. XD .

It was originally meant to be night in the picture, but I prefer the soft warm colours. ^^

I wasn`t sure if I should upload this...ah, whatever...XP
In case someone has dirty thoughts, my hands are on his belly, okay? ( I guess not for long, but hey, that`s not the point! ) ;)

Just a simple touch...

Found this some days ago in an older ( means several months old ) sketchbook.
Since most of my Jim-Dolphy pictures are sad, depressed or romantic, I thought it would be nice to ink and colour a drawing with them being more carefree and just having fun for a change. ^^

Sometimes I wonder how you can miss something you never had...

From "Twist of Fate", chapter 2 :

" “I had planned to give this to you on our anniversary next week, but I think you need something to cheer you up now.” smiled Jim and sat next to her.
He was holding a small black jewel case in his hand. Dolphy took it and opened it slowly, as if to increase the suspense for herself. In the case was a silver necklace with a diamond-shaped pendant that had an engraved eight-pronged star. In the middle of it was a ruby, in the same shape as the pendant. Dolphy knew that it was more than just a pretty piece of jewelry. The eight-pronged star was the Etherial symbol for eternity, and the ruby was the precious stone of love. There was also something engraved on the back of the pendant :
“For Dolphy. I love you.”

Not really an illustration for my fanfiction, I just posted this paraghraph to explain the meaning of the necklace. ;)

Hidden symbolism, because it`s supposed to be a red lily, which is what my real name means in Hebrew. ^^

And I wanted to try out a picture with brownish colours only...also added some textures because I was too lazy to add shading and didn`t want it to look boring. ^^"

I did it a while ago while sitting in the train ( I was on the way to visit Lobby ). It started as a random mermaid, but she looked too much like me so I continued to draw it as myself, then randomly added my dolphin Dive and - because he looks so sexy as a merman - Jim.

Lobby was visiting me. One evening she hug-attacked me on my bed. ( ...that sounds reaaaally weird...uhm, okay, back to the topic *coughs* ^^" ).
Since my Jim-plushie was in the way and she has some sort of rivalry with him ( that sounds even weirder XD ) she kicked him out of the bed. It wasn`t intended to be so forcefully ( *glares at lobby* still don`t believe that ), but he was sent flying through the air and landed on his head. XD

So yeah, Jim should keep away from Lobby...for the sake of his health.

Lobby is NOT amused. *lol* X)

I was chatting with Lobby ( as usual ;) ) and asking her if she had an idea for another Jim-Dolphy-picture and she came up with that. *huggles her* ^_^

Jim is so cute when he`s blushing. ^^
Wanted to make it look like a screenshot, hence the simple shading.

I had drawn the sketch about one year ago and kind of forgotten it in one of my sketch blocks. Every time I looked at it again I was like "Oh yeah, gotta colour that one!"... and put it back in there. :P
Then I finally decided to colour it, but without shading since I wasn`t in the mood and it would have taken too long. *is a lazy ass*
I still think the idea was funny. Speaking of which, almost forgot to explain what it`s all about.

When my kiwi-obsession started I soon bought my first kiwi-plush toy which I called "Iwi". Sam and I loved that plushie because it`s just cute. Some time later I found another kiwi-plush toy in an online store and we joked about Iwi being sad ´cause we neglected him a bit after I had gotten the new plushie. *g*

But he`s still got Jim. *rofl* Nah, I still like my Iwi. ^__^

PS: My couch really looks like that. ;)

Because several people have been asking me lately if I have ever thought about Jim and me getting children... XD

I hope you`ll like this better than a picture which is full of roses, hearts and the excessive use of the colour pink.

~Iova is writing a "Treasure Planet"-fanfiction with my character in it, and *Kyubi-Girl left an...inspiring comment on a special sentence in her last chapter.

~“Jim, what’s the-” hollered Dolphy, her sentence cut short when she fell down with Jim on top of her.
I couldn't help thinking "compromising position" when I read that. XD

Yeah, thanks to the both of you I´ve suddenly had that image stuck in my head!
Do you really think I would get ideas of drawing pictures like that myself? *coughs innocently*...Hey, what are you all looking at me like that!?

As usual the scanner messed up the colours and made some parts blurry. -_-
The actual picture is more bluish, but I thought it looked better with a bit warmer colours. ^^

What happens when it`s waaaay past midnight and Dolphy can`t sleep so she listens to Celine Dion songs and decides to draw something? Yep, Jim-Dolphy-romance. ^^"
I kinda like how this turned out, except of the sky. :P Logically, there should be a part of the ship visible in the background, but I thought it looked alright the way it is. *shrugs*

Sometimes it would be nice to have someone to hug and cuddle with... *sighs*

Sure, he`s cute, but it can get pretty annoying when he follows Jim everwhere, it wouldn`t surprise me if the poor boy suffered from persecution complex already.

Some time ago MafunDi and Atimon ( biggest Timon-fan ever ) visited me. In the evening we sat together on the couch and suddenly Ati began to attack MafunDi with her Timon-plushtoy. I sat next to them with my Jim- and Kiwi-plushie in my lap and observed their little fight ( which was in fact rather entertaining ). Eventually I feigned that my plushies would talk and Jim said

"Let`s gonna get boozing while Timon tries to kill him." to the kiwi. *rofl*

Yeah, we`re insane...and proud of it! :D

Jim is kinda relieved that he didn`t hallucinate because of the rum ( that`s the fluid in their mugs ). By the way, my plush-kiwi really does have that little leather collar, I just thought it looked cute.^_~

I`m so sick of people keeping to bash "Treasure Planet"!!! >_< I haven`t worked on the movie myself ( wish I did ! ) but I truly love it and it`s characters with my whole heart and I know how much time, effort and love the people at Disney put into this project ( there are enough reports, books and stuff on the TP-DVD to prove that ) and every time I hear something negative it`s like somebody stabs a knife through my heart...and ´cause I feel sorry for everybody who has participated in making this masterpiece.So much work and then there are so many stupid ***s who just can`t appreciate what they created.I know TP wasn`t the most successful movie but it IS a masterpiece and just because there are no cute little singing animals it doesn`t mean that it`s "unlike Disney". >_< On the contrary, I haven`t seen another movie that has so much heart as TP does.I`m glad that there are also people who have realized what a beautiful movie it is ( *hugs all the fellow TP-fans* ). I can`t say any more than to quote my favourite singer Phil Collins :

Okay, this screams for an explanation. XD A while ago I was chatting with Wolvy and Angie.One of them asked me where Jim was and I said he was lying on the couch and sleeping ´cause he had drunk too much rum.They started making jokes about me getting Jim drunk to make him amenable and do...things to him. *lol* I`ll leave it to your imagination.
However, that joke continued when I was phoning with Lobby a few days ago and I was kidding that I had to watch out for Jim not getting sober again.Weird humor, I know, but I had to draw it. *lol*

I was listening to some of my Disney CDs and there were some songs from "Mary Poppins", including "Chim Chim Che-ree".Don`t know about you, but when I hear it I always have to think about Jim because it really sounds like they would sing his name!I can`t listen to that song without grinning like an idiot and can`t get it out of my head recently.So poor Jim has to suffer.Mwuahaha! On my birthday my friends and I went to a Mexican restaurant where they served all kinds of cocktails.They were decorated with such little wooden sticks that had some glittering stuff at the end of them (dunno what to call ´ em). However,after a while we put them in our big straws and started to blow into them and shoot ´em at each other.(Really funny evening,that was.)
I told this to Wolvy and she had this idea of her char Luke putting a cherry on the stick and shooting it at Jim.Come on,I simply HAD to draw that! ; )
