Jim / Dolphy-Box :
Okay, I admit this is waaaaay too
kitschy. X) But I was in the mood for kitsch.
Some friends were visiting me and we went to a big cool artists`
supplies shop in Hamburg. We wanted to do handicrafts and looked for
whatever would catch our attention. I found a wooden box and some neat
glitter paint. *loves glitter* :D
Back at home I painted it, printed out three Jim / Dolphy pictures, cut
them out, glued them onto the box and added some glitter and voilą!
Kitsch-box finished! *lol*

Poster
:
Jim-Lion sculpture :
Pirate
pendants : Wanted
to have some TP-jewelry so I made these two pendants of black modelling
material (it`s called
"Fimo" here in Germany). The pirate symbols were done with a
white pen.and silver glitter.
Jim
sculpture : I
was kinda mad because I couldn`t find any big Jim figures but only those
tiny action figures so I tried to make one myself. The result : That
thing nearly drove me crazy,it took me almost 24 hours to finish!Dunno
if I`ll ever do something like that again.Hadn`t imagined that it would
be SO much work. : P
Realized that one has to use wires before making a
sculpture when I saw the "Making of the maquettes" part on my
TP-DVD.Always wondered why my sculptures collapsed. XP
The wire frame in front of the sketch which I did
for the posture of the sculpture and as reference for its look.Gotta say
that Jim`s face was the most difficult part of all.
The unpainted version ( which looks as if he`d
collapse any moment *lol* )...
...and the final one! : D
Solar
surfer box : (
aka "Dolphy needed a place for her TP-collector`s cards" )
Took me "only" 4 hours.The box isn`t
very big so the most difficult part was drawing the details so you could
still recognize them.
The glittering stuff I used for the galaxy
background is nail varnish (old trick o` mine).C`mon, did you really
think I`d paint every single star myself? XD
